Luxury Travel Service is open Monday through Saturday; office hours are 8:00am until 5:00pm, with departure and return times between 9:00am and 4:00pm. We are closed on Sundays and all National Holidays.
Travel into Mexico is strictly prohibited as well as into Newfoundland. Travel into Alaska is permitted.
Luxury Travel Service offers a 31 ft. Class C Motor Home. It is equipped with a back-up camera for additional safety and convenience.
Luxury Travel Service provides vehicles with many extras but has also tried to make things a little more convenient for our customers by providing a stocked (equipment wise) kitchen and an first aid kits, among other items. Our vehicle is equipped with satellite TV, Play Station II video games, stereo system, central air conditioning and heating, and all the comforts of home. A 27 inch TV upfront can be used to view satellite TV, DVD and VHS. The television in the back room may be used to DVD, VHS and Play Station II video games.
Our vehicle has seating for 12 people and sleeping accommodations for 7. The vehicle may be operated with gasoline or propane. It has a total of 80 gallons of fuel (55 gas and 25 propane), which greatly increases the range between fuel stops. A full-sized bathroom and shower make traveling and camping a breeze. When electricity is not available, a push of a button will start the on-board generator or inverting system.
Our vehicle is also equipped with full basement storage and a tow hitch. If you are intending to tow a vehicle or a utility type trailer, we must know in advance as there is a strict 2,500lb limit. The vehicle is also equipped with a Ford V-10 engine and overdrive transmission.
Definitions: Herein all the renters/drivers will be referred to as “customer” and will carry equal responsibility in this agreement. The motor home for rent will be referred to as “vehicle”.
Driver Requirements: Qualified drivers/renters must be twenty-five years of age or older and possess a valid and identifiable drivers license. A major credit card, references, verification of employment or a foreign passport are required as identification prior to rental, will be verified. All customers are subject to digital camera/video imaging, all customers must be listed on and sign the rental contract and are bound by the terms and conditions of the rental contract.
Familiarization Tour: A familiarization tour of approximately one hour, is required to familiarize the customer/customers with the operation of vehicle before departure. This tour is only given during office hours. Please include this in your scheduling.
Optional Use of Generator: The motor home is equipped with a generator. The generator is not necessary for normal vehicle operation and is subject to frequent service interruptions. Therefore, if customers choose to use the generator, an extra charge will accrue at $3.00 per hour, as determined by the installed running time meter. The customers shall have a complementary three hours of free generator time, after which, the $3.00 per hour charge will begin to accrue.

Security Deposit: A deposit of $1000.00 is required (via credit card authorization only, NOT a charge) at time of departure, to cover un-insurable damage and or any interior damage/ lost items/ broken items/ fees. Customer’s credit card will be authorized only for security amount. An actual charge will not be made unless needed upon return. Customer’s insurance does NOT cover damage to undercarriage, awnings or roof items. This kind of damage will be at customer’s expense and deducted from security deposit.
Payment for rental: The estimated rental charges are payable, in full, at departure, by credit card. Personal checks are accepted, local ONLY, upon verification of funds and bank ATM cards are not accepted. For payment of any portion of the rental fees, other than by credit card, a security deposit of $1000.00 will be required. For certain rental applications, deposits may be increased at Luxury Travel Service’s sole discretion. Credit card charges are processed at departure. If your credit card has a daily charge limit, please verify with your card issuing authority to ensure coverage of all charges. Upon return, all charges, if any, are balanced against the deposit and a credit or check will be issued for the refund.
Speed: Due to the size and weight of the vehicle, speeds in excess of 65 mph may cause undue danger to occupants and other vehicles. Speeds above 65 mph also cause undue wear and tear on the vehicles engine, transmission, tires and could cause an untimely failure. All customers that operate a Luxury Travel Service vehicle agree to operate said vehicle at 65 mph or less.
Parking/Traffic Violations: Customers are responsible for reporting and for the payment of all parking/traffic violations by rental termination. Non-reporting of parking/traffic violations will result in a charge of $200.00, in addition to the fines. The customer agrees to allow Luxury Travel Service to charge said fees and fines to their credit card(s).
Red Flag Areas: The vehicle is restricted from operation in Mexico and Newfoundland. It is suggested that operation in Death Valley, the Mohave Desert and other desert areas during summer months (June 15th through September 15th) be avoided. Should this information be ignored, the customer will be held liable for all breakdowns, damages to vehicle, tires, towing charges and all other related expenses as a result of the breakdown as associated with operating in these areas. During the summer months, these areas are not habitable and could pose a danger to the customer and passengers. The vehicle is not allowed on logging and other non-public roads and select highways such as the Apache Trail in Arizona. The vehicle is allowed in Alaska, The Yukon, and The Northwest Territories. Travel on Dalton or Dempster highways are prohibited under all conditions.
It is the sole responsibility of the customer, not Luxury Travel Service, to plan in advance and research all routes for their suitability concerning a 31 ft. long, 12 1/2 foot high motor home.
The customer agrees that if damage is caused to the vehicle due to ill planning on the customer part (narrow highways, very tight, winding highways, insufficient over pass/tunnel height etc.), the customer will accept all responsibility for repairs. Due to restrictions on vehicle heights, propane gas and parking, vehicles with propane are not permitted in Manhattan and are not permitted to travel through any underground or underwater tunnels. Violations of these restrictions will cause the customer to be held liable for all damages and all other related expenses.
Early Returns, Late Pickups and Unused Miles: No refunds will be made for early returns, late pickups, or unused miles.
Fuel Information: No warranties are made concerning fuel mileage and fuel tank capacity. We assume no liability for fuel consumption rates. All gasoline and propane charges are at the customer’s expense. The customer accepts all responsibilities and expenses due to allowing the vehicle to run out of gas. The gasoline tank and the appliance propane tank will be full at pickup. The propane tank for the engine will be empty. If the customer wishes to have propane for the engine as a backup or extended travel time, it will be at the customer’s expense. The gasoline tank and the appliance propane tank shall be full at the time of return or the customer will be charged at the rate of $6.00 per gallon for Luxury Travel Service to re-fill said tanks. There will be no refund on the unused portion of propane in the engine propane tank.

Vehicle Departure/Return Times: No departure or returns will be scheduled on Sundays or holidays. During office hours, the rental departures are between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Flagstaff, AZ time. Returns are due by 4:00pm Flagstaff, AZ time. A charge of $25.00, per hour, may be charged for each hour the vehicle is overdue. The customer agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition received, excluding normal wear. A fee of $200.00 will be charged if the interior of the vehicle has not been cleaned. The renter will pay for any and all damages or loss of equipment. The holding tank must be empty prior to the return of the vehicle or be subject to an additional dumping charge of $200.00. The customer agrees to allow Luxury Travel Service to charge their credit card for any and all damages to the vehicle or loss of equipment upon return and dumping charge, if applicable.
Rental Date: The per day rate, begins the pick up day and ends on the return day. Per day rates are based on calendar days NOT a 24 hour clock. Extra rental days are based on the number of extra nights needed or used. If the vehicle is not returned on the scheduled return day, the per day charge will be charged. Rental charges are based on rates in effect on pickup day.
Pets: Pets are welcome with Luxury Travel Service. The customers agrees to clean up after their pet and return the vehicle in the same condition as received, or be subject to a cleaning fee of $300.00. The most common reason for the cleaning fee is usually due to pet hair or urine odor. If any pet hair is found inside the vehicle or if any odor exists, the $300.00 cleaning fee will be assessed to have the vehicle professionally cleaned. The customer agrees that Luxury Travel Service will be the ultimate authority on whether or not any pet hair or odor exists.
Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited within the vehicle. No exceptions. Cigarette and cigar smoke will enter the fabric and will be almost impossible to remove. The customer agrees that if any evidence of smoking (cigarette/cigar odor and/or cigarette/cigar burns) is found upon return, customer will be subject to a $500.00 cleaning fee. The customer agrees that Luxury Travel Service will be the ultimate authority on whether or not any cigarette/cigar odor and/or any cigarette/cigar burns exists.
Towing trailers and cars: Towing is permitted. No towing apparatus or hookup services are provided by Luxury Travel Service. Customer must declare intention to tow prior to departure and warrant that towing weight is within 3200 pounds. Luxury Travel Service provides no liability coverage for third party injury and property damage inflicted by the towed object, under any circumstances. Luxury Travel Service provides no coverage for damage to the towed objects.
In Case of Emergency: In the event of accident, theft or vandalism, customer must report to the police immediately, notify Luxury Travel Service within 24 hours, and then make a full report to Luxury Travel Service, in writing.
Maintenance and Breakdown Responsibility: The customer is responsible for checking engine oil, transmission fluid and coolant levels at each refueling, as well as reporting mechanical failures to Luxury Travel Service immediately. LTS will NOT cover tire damage caused by foreign objects.
Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. In the event the vehicle is in need of repair, for 12 hours or more, through no-fault of the customer, our responsibility to the customer is limited to a refund of the daily rate or portion thereof. Radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, appliances, cruise control, stereo system, TV's, backup camera system, satellite system, video games system, heat system and generator malfunctions are not considered breakdowns and no refunds are available for repair time to these items. If a mechanical breakdown should occur, Luxury Travel Service provides a toll-free number, during normal business hours. After normal business hours or on Sundays and holidays, please arrange for local assistance. All repairs in excess $100.00 require prior authorization by Luxury Travel Service. Customers are not authorized to make repairs to the vehicle. Luxury Travel Service assumes no responsibility for the customer’s safety in attempts to do maintenance and tire changes. If the customer deems it necessary to change a tire, they assume all responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others during this process. If the customer does not wish to assume responsibility during a tire change, they agree to call a local service to have it taken care of for them. Customer expenses for authorized repairs, oil changes, etc. will be reimbursed upon presentation of receipts. Customer assumes full responsibility for all additional expenses incurred by reason of breakdown of vehicle (hotels, meals, transportation back to point of origin, cell phone charges etc.).

Extra Mileage: The customer has the choice to pay for the exact miles used above and beyond the plan miles, at the rate of the $.15 per mile ($.25 per mile on straight day rate), at the end of the rental.
Dropped Vehicle: If vehicle is dropped at any location other than Flagstaff, Arizona, for any reason other than, mechanical breakdown not of customers fault, the customer agrees to pay Luxury Travel Service exact retrieval costs. If mechanical breakdown has occurred in before-mentioned desert areas during June 15 through and until September 15, customer agrees to pay Luxury Travel Service exact retrieval costs.
Customer's Credit Card: The customer agrees to allow Luxury Travel Service to charge any and all applicable fees, fines and costs agreed to, herein, to their credit card (s).

The customer furthermore agrees not to seek a refund from Luxury Travel Service in the form of disputed credit card charges. If the customer feels a refund is in order, the customer agrees to discuss the issue with Luxury Travel Service first. If an agreement cannot be made between the customer and Luxury Travel Service, the customer agrees to let a legal court of law, in Flagstaff Arizona, determine the outcome.

Insurance: Customer understands and agrees to pay $15 per day for insurance coverage through MBNA Insurance at www.mbachoice.com . The customer agrees to pay Luxury Travel Service insurance deductible of $1000 ( one thousand dollars) and/or pay damage cost (above and beyond security deposit) if damage is of a non-covered nature, ie. on top of or underneath the motorhome. Customer must provide a police report of any accident if possible. Any damage must be reported to Luxury Travel Service immediately.
Hold Harmless / Waiver: In consideration of the lease/rental of motor home equipment and related activities driving on highways, byways, freeways, dirt roads, moving about while vehicle is in motion, etc. the customer / undersigned:
1. Agrees that prior to entering into a lease or taking possession of Motor Home the customer(s) will inspect the Motor Home to be leased/rented, and if the customer(s) believe anything is unsafe the customer(s) will immediately advise Luxury Travel Service of such condition(s) and refuse to use said motor home.
2. Acknowledges and fully understands that every driver and passenger in the leased motor home will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability, death, severe social and economic losses that might result from their own actions, inactions or negligence from the use of the motor home; further, that there may be other risks not known to Luxury Travel Service, nor reasonably foreseeable.
3. The Customer / undersigned assumes all of the foregoing risks and accepts personal responsibility for the damages following such injury, permanent disability or death to himself / herself and their passengers allowed in or on the vehicle by customer.
4. Releases, waives and discharges Luxury Travel Service, including its directors, officers, employees and agents, from demands, losses or damages on account of injury, including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of Luxury Travel Service or otherwise.
5. The undersigned has read the above waiver and release, understands that he or she has given up substantial rights by signing it, and signs it voluntarily.
